Great location at a reasonable price in a pricey market. The unit was clean and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The hosts recommended that we did our shopping in Deer Lake, which was convenient. The keys were left in the unlocked cabin for us when we arrived and we left.
The beds in the cabin were not very comfortable, the least comfortable beds we slept in during our entire 16-day holiday. The plumbing in the bathtub/shower looked like a DIY project and didn't seem to be done by a professional.

Loved the fact that the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us during a challenging time. When a hurricane was approaching, they willingly changed our dates at no extra charge, which made our trip possible. Amazing customer service! the room had a stunning view and was very well-maintained. It had all the necessary amenities, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. - We were able to enjoy a delicious dinner at a nearby restaurant and easily access the Western Brook Pond boat tour, which was absolutely fantastic. the location was perfect for exploring the area.
The cleanliness of the room could have been better. We noticed some dirt around the bathroom door knob and the fridge was not as clean as we would have liked.

I recently stayed at a cozy cabin in Norris Point called Gros Morne Basecamp, and I had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, with easy access to main attractions and several restaurants in the village. The cabin itself was well-appointed, with comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and a nice verandah for relaxing and barbecuing. The owners were proactive in their communication, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Parking right in front of the cabin was a convenient perk. Although there were a couple of drawbacks, such as the absence of a washing machine and some cleanliness issues, overall I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Gros Morne Basecamp for a memorable trip to Norris Point.
